Description:
The goal of this Raspberry Pi project is to control a metal arm with a lever and allow the arm to have move at angles similar to that of a human arm. This motion of this arm will be governed by two stepper motors that are found at the elbow intersection of the arm. The arm constructed from wielded metal, controlled and powered by a Raspberry Pi and has similar dimensions to that of a human arm. The arm will function as a project that allows us to learn robotic scripting and some of the basics of engineering and physics.
Currently this is a private project. However,we will begin a Remotely controlled vehicle project during the coming Fall 2013 semester.
Please post your ideas about the project below or any advice you might have.
